TERMS AND CONDITIONS
ATELAROSA - TAPICERÍA - UPHOLSTERY & DESIGN
Upon agreement of the project and payment of the deposit, the client is deemed to have read these T&C ́s and be in accordance with these terms.
Deposit, Payment & Scheduling:
A deposit of 50% of labour costs + full payment of top fabric is required to schedule and commence work on any project. In the event of any unavoidable delays on the part of the suppliers, work on your project will be rescheduled upon receipt of the fabric from the supplier.
The full balance is due upon completion of the project and is payable on or before delivery or collection of the completed items.
Fabric Availability and Pricing:
ATELAROSA cannot be held responsible for changes in availability or pricing on the part of fabric suppliers/manufacturers.
In the event of unavailability or price changes of selected fabrics, ATELAROSA will make reasonable efforts to communicate alternatives and seek the clients approval before proceeding with the project.
Delivery and Collection:
Delivery and collection arrangements will be agreed upon before the commencement of work. In the event of large pieces of furniture, the client agrees to cover the costs of a van hire/professional delivery to transport the item(s).
Any delays or changes to delivery or collection dates must be communicated and agreed upon by both parties.
Guarantee:
The upholstery work by ATELAROSA is guaranteed for a period of 12 months following completion, and within the realms of plausible wear and tear. This guarantee covers issues related to the upholstery work only and excludes any failures in the integral structure of the furniture unrelated to works by ATELAROSA, or any failures in the material provided by the supplier/manufacturer.
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellation without incurring a charge is only possible prior to the commencement of work and/or non-refundable confirmation of fabric orders with the supplier/manufacturer.
Cancellation after the commencement of work and/or non-refundable confirmation of fabric orders with the supplier/manufacturer will incur a charge for the hours of work undertaken and/or materials bought in relation to the project.
Customer Responsibilities:
The client is responsible for providing accurate and complete information regarding their upholstery requirements prior to work commencing.
The client is responsible for inspecting the completed work upon delivery or collection and notifying ATELAROSA of any concerns or issues within a reasonable time frame of 48 hours.
Alterations & Additional charges:
Should ATELAROSA find defaults in the structural integrity of the piece after removing the old coverings (for example, in the frame of the furniture), these concerns will be relayed promptly to the client. Please note; Atelarosa cannot be held responsible for unseen issues within the furniture. A solution will be presented to the client promptly; please note, additional labour costs may apply for relevant unseen works. Any other alterations or changes to the original upholstery specifications must be communicated and agreed upon by both parties and additional charges may apply where relevant.
Storage Fees:
If items are not collected within 30 days of the balance payment date/collection date and no alternative arrangements have been made by the client, storage fees may apply and after this period of 30 days, a storage fee will be charged at €30/day.
After a period of 90 days after the balance payment date/collection date, if the balance has not been paid and/or if items have been abandoned by the client, ATELAROSA reserves the right that the items may be sold to reimburse ATELAROSA for costs incurred.
Dispute Resolution:
In the event of any disputes or concerns, the first and preferred course of action is for both parties to engage in good-faith negotiations to reach a resolution. If, for any reason, this proves unsuccessful, any dispute will be subject to resolution under Spanish law.

These terms and conditions are subject to change; any updates will be communicated to the customer in a timely manner.
